Originally I was hoping to repair it, but he thoroughly showed and explained to me the issues, and that it would actually cost about the same price to get a new, attractive, and much safer/durable one. I was in no way pressured to order a new door as opposed to repairing the current one. Scott M. Was my technician. Not only was he very nice, his professionalism and knowledge was superior. He answered all of my questions thoroughly. In addition, Scott called me at the start of my four hour window just to give me a more approximate time that he would arrive. That was so greatly appreciated and he arrived right when he said. Finally, Scott was so courteous. He told me there may be some noise with drilling, etc. he told me this because he knew my two young children were sleeping.

Gaetano, the service person arrived at the scheduled time.....he explained my options and performed the installation with no problems. I was very pleased with the service provided by Drew. He was professional, cordial, cheerful, and provided me with good information on the diagnosis and prognosis of my garage door problem. He fixed the problem quickly. I strongly recommend that you address the issue of your fees. Your pricing structure is very confusing (and a little bit deceptive). There's a "service call," "labor charge," although if you need parts, the labor charge is included in the cost of parts. Is that right? I think you need to tell the customer the following: 1. For a technician to visit your home, the initial charge is $69.00. That is the cost/charge/fee for one of our technicians to travel to your home, even before any work is done. 2. Our technicians get $100/hour for their time that cannot be divided into portions of an hour. If a technician works on your garage doors for 1 minute or 60 minutes, you will be charged $100. 3. I can't suggest a change to your labor/parts explanation because I'm still not sure what it is. I hope to hear back from you to address my suggestions. Thank you for allowing me post my opinions.

Tim Rainey, the technician, explained how a garage door opener should work and then went through each point on how my garage door was either working properly or inproperly and what I needed to fix the problems. Tim was knowledgeable and efficient. Now my garage door opens smoothly and quietly, and I don't have to worry about any harm to my car or me from a broken cable.

I would highly recommend Precision for your garage door needs. I used them for installation of a garage door opener and then again just recently for a repair.
