I totally believe in the review process and am a senior contributing reviewer on Trip Adviser. I think that it is absolutely the very best way to find a quality service provider whether it be a garage door repair person, a restaurant, a vet or a hotel. Reviewers, however, have to be absolutely honest, not pull punches and most of all be fair in regards to the good and bad part of the experience. It is with the most high praise possible that I can tell you that Precision Door is really a wonderful, high quality provider. Scott came to my home after my purchase of a package to replace the rollers, tune-up and check out my two garage door openers. I was well aware before they came that one door would no longer open at all. I was told that the motor was not functioning any longer and while it could be repaired, it was still a very aging product. There was absolutely no pressure to replace this opener. The age and cost difference between repair vs. replace made the decision for me. I was so thrilled with the increased horsepower and quiet that I decided to replace the other garage door as well. Unfortunately Scott did not have another opener on his truck. We made an appointment for a few days later but a snow storm interfered. I received a call explaining and apologizing. Today Scott came, installed the second opener and even found a way for my Prius to be able to open the door without the use of the controller itself. He found a separate device that will convert most programmable cars to work with the garage door automatically. The Prius dealer had never been able to suggest or figure out a way to do this. I was extremely impressed with Scott and the rest of the team at Precision. This company is truly wonderful!!! I highly recommend them in every way.

My garage door had problems closing. Scott M looked at the hardware and found the lenses to be malfunctioning and replaced them. He also noted that many other pieces were also in need of replacing. He replaced the drive unit, car remote and keypad. He explained everything in detail and I understood what was needed. Scott was a very competent technician, communication was excellent and his personality was very nice. I would highly recommend him.

From the very first contact, up until the completion of our service, we were greeted with knowledgeable people who had the greatest customer service skills ever. Our service technician was Tim, and he was an awesome service guy! He showed up when he said he would. He explained to us every single thing he needed to do BEFORE he started the job. He worked quietly and efficiently. When the job was done, it was like he was never there - that's how well he cleaned up his workspace. We are pleased with the level of service we got from Tim. Always punctual and professional. Was informed the problem had nothing to do with the doors and saw what the technician meant. Because of the uneven entry floor the weatherproofing allows some water to enter.
