Very professional service. Technician called ahead of arrival and was very clean and neat. Fixed the issue within 45-60 minutes. Door works better than ever. Quality materials seemed to be used. The springs used are much better than the old ones I had.

If I could have given zero stars I would have, but they do not let me do so. Almost 5 years ago I had Precision come and install a new garage door, a lift system for the door (top of the line) with a keypad and two remotes. Not even 5 years later my keypad stops working correctly and will not open the door. I finally call to have a technician come out, I am not home but my husband is. When I get home he tells me they charged over $200 for a new keypad. I am upset because this seems very expensive for a keypad and I do not feel it should have died so soon. I call about 1 hour after the technician has left my house (I have nothing bad to say about the technician or the women who I spoke with on the phone) and called customer service. I was told that I would need to speak to management and they will not be in until Monday. She took my information and said they will call on Monday. At 4pm on Monday I still did not receive a call so I called back. I was told they would try to get a hold of management and have them call me. NO call Monday. On Tuesday still not call by 3pm. I call them and finally get management. I do not know if they were hoping I would go away if they did not call or not, but I was already displeased by their lack of care for their customers. I asked the management if I should be expected to have to replace my keypad every 5 years because I think that I should have been told that before buying the product. I was told that it should have lasted a lot longer and this was unusual and should not happen again. Once I was told this, I then asked why I was charged over $200 to fix something that was clearly defective. How do they not back the products that they are selling? The response I got was that the manufacture only warranties it for 1 year so they can’t do anything. I stated again how do you as a large company not back the products you sell, because you are not if it is clearly defective and you charged me so much to replace it. Then I am told a keypad should only be $99. He looks up my information and I was charged a package to do a diagnostic and get a keypad, something I did not ask for. So I had to pay $100 over what I should have. Management finally says the best they can do is give you me 2 year warranty on the new keypad, which I flip out to. If it should last 10-15 years what is a 2 year warranty doing. I tell him I am done and will be writing a review about how they do not back their products. I then get told I would get a full refund. I month later and no check. Clearly this company does not care about its clients, is dishonest, disloyal, and does not back their defective products, let alone one that is not.

I chose Precision for a number of reasons. Recommendations from friends and great ratings. When I called a person answered the phone promptly and quickly provided all the information I needed to feel comfortable doing business with Precision. The communication was incredibly thorough. When Roberto the Technician arrived on time he assessed my situation and recommended a product that totally met my needs at a price that I felt was a good value. He went to work and installed my new opener in about an hour and a half. He explained everything clearly and helped me program our cars to the new unit. He was friendly and professional and was done and cleaned up in an impressive time frame. The unit is incredibly quiet with a number of safety and convenience features. I wily absolutely recommend Precision to my friends and family. I’ve not experienced this level of great service in a very long time. I’d even be inclined to request Roberto

We were out of the country for the week while my parents watched the house for us. They noticed the sprocket on the garage door motor broke, only allowing manual opening & closing of the garage door at the time. They notified me right away & I was able to go on the pdsnj.com website to chat w/ a live operator last week who scheduled me at my earliest convenient time, which was today Sunday 9/21/19, 8a-12p time slot. Roberto was our technician, noted the problem immediately & offered 3 options. Upon his recommendation, we chose to replace the motor & old chain driven assembly. After all our unit was 14yrs old & was due for an upgrade. Roberto told us the job would be completed in an hour & he was dead on. We love our new 8550WLED belt driven & super quiet Liftmaster garage door opener which comes w/ 2 traditional remotes. We opted for the keyfob remotes instead to replace the traditional ones. Btw, this is our 2nd time using PDSNJ & couldn't be happier. Thanks again PDS & Roberto for the awesome service!!!
