Lou grew up in Wayne, NJ and currently lives in a lake community in West Milford with his wife and two daughters. He comes from a law enforcement background and graduated from the University of Scranton with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. Lou enjoys ALL things outdoors: hunting, fresh & salt water fishing, ice fishing, camping, boating, lounging on the lake, hiking, BBQing, watching the sunset, and playing softball & football. His favorite teams are the NY Jets & NY Yankees. Technician called when beginning his day to give us an estimate of timing and then called when he was on the way to our home. Upon arrival he assessed the situation and set about finding and implementing a solution. The technician was respectful, knowledgeable and neat (he would track each and every item that fell to the floor so he could recover it during clean-up). Friendliness is a characteristic very important for technicians and this technician was an excellent representative of friendly behavior for Precision Doors. Technician called 22 minutes early to say that he would be on time. Arrived in easily identified work uniform and asked about the problem with one of my garage doors. I showed him what the existing problem was and how I recently had installed new sensors. We concluded that the sensors that I had picked up were not compatible with my opener. I opted to purchase a new opener and have him do the installation. His work was quick and impeccable. I will request to have him return in the spring to replace the other opener. At first I was ambivalent about the service fee, but after meeting the technician, his professionalism and knowledge made it an easy decision that I needed his services. I am glad I googled garage door opener repairs and found precision.

My garage door was opening and closing continually on its own, a definite safety and security problem. I called Precision of Morris County and was pleased to hear that a tech could be at my residence the same day. Lou R. And Michael arrived within an hour of my call. Lou diagnosed the problem and explained my options. I decided to replace the aging Liftmaster,springs, cables and remote controls. I also wanted sensors installed because my old system lacked them. I now have the convenience of a mounted door control and battery back-up. Lou and Michael were very friendly and professional.

Lou was our technician. I had asked for an early appointment and he complied -- was there before 9. On July 25, 2016 Lou R. from precision garage door company came to repair my garage door. After looking at the door Lou presented several options in a very professional and knowledgeable way. We had a very positive experience with him, unbelievably friendly and very honest, he never put any pressure on us and that is what's best as far as I'm concerned. He put a new motor and changed all that was needed to be changed. What a friendly positive, polite, amazing man to have come to my house and help us out. He deserves 15 stars in diamonds. I am usually not in the habit of writing reviews, but in this case, I felt compelled to comment on the excellent service provided by Lou. He arrived well within the four hour window and did call about 20 minutes before arriving to let me know he was coming. He diagnosed the problem quickly and thoroughly explained what the issue was with the garage door opener. The opener now works as good as new. Great service all around. I do plan on using Precision for all of my future garage door needs.
