Four years ago, I hired Precision to do a complete overhaul of my garage door. Everything has been perfect until recently, when we began having trouble with our key pad. I called the company about the problem and two days later a technician was at my door for our appointment. He was on time, friendly, and not only fixed the problem, but gave everything else a check while he was there. I was very pleased with the service. There was no charge for the excellent service as the warranty was still in effect.

New garage door installed today. Our first-time experience with Precision Door was great. Exactly three weeks ago when a spring on our old door broke, we were able to get a technician, Drew, to come take a look that afternoon. He was efficient, thorough and personable. He explained what our options were, what was covered in the costs and the overall process. It took two weeks for the door to arrive (we have a slightly nonstandard size). In the meantime, Theresa answered my questions and offered her direct phone number as well as her hours. Today, Kenny and Jason came (BTW, all the technicians arrived within the stated time period). They were very professional, focused, polite and personable. They got right to work and didn't stop till everything was done (about 4 hours). The new door is a big improvement over our old one. They even showed me how to use the lock function on our garage door opener keypad. They left the garage immaculate - no one could ever tell that two men had worked for four hours to remove an old door and install a new one. This is a great company and great people. Our experience was one that you hope for, but have given up daring to expect. Thank you!

He return this month to fix the sensor that I had knocked off the door frame. Again, Lou called first, arrived on time, corrected the problem and fixed it so I can't create the same problem again. We chose Precision because the name came up when we looked for the original installer, Overhead Door. A big plus was that you sent someone out on Sunday. Our garage door repair included replacing and various moving parts. The technician, P. Orlando, was competent and professional. His manner was friendly. He answered all questions and explained what he was going to do and why. We see competence in how the company is run. The service was most satisfactory; we recommended Precision to a friend. I called Precision for their hours of operation. My daughter came home from school and called me to say the door almost fell on her as she walked into the garage. Precision gave me a repair time that was not at all convenient and I asked for a different time. I was immediately given a time which was agreeable. I was told the technician would call me on his way to the job. I received two phone calls from Lou, first when he was on route to his next job and again after he assessed the job to give me an ETA. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. He installed new cables and replaced rollers. The night was freezing, and his personality deserved a coffee from Dunkin Donuts to warm him up!

I chose Precision TODAY because I was speaking to my neighbors over the weekend and they told me they had called and made an appt for one of your service people to come today and fix -- replace -- I believe, their door. Their door was BROKEN. My door wasn't broken but it was SO NOISY that when I got home late, I didn't even put my car in the garage, the door made so much noise . . . and I went into my house via the front door. So I decided to speak to your guy, Pete, while he was at my neighbors. It turned out he had time to check and fix my door as well today. He was professional, friendly, explained what the problem was, offered options to address it, I chose the option, he was able to do it, and was done -- no time wasted. I was very impressed with Pete's professionalism, knowledge and willingness to share information . . . not to mention that the door is now so quiet, I can barely hear it in motion. Andrew N was wonderful today. My appointment was set between 1:00pm and 5:00pm, he called after he finished his previous appointment to let me know he could come earlier if it worked out for me and of course it did. When he arrived he provided me with an explanation of why I had an issue with my garage door and how he could fix it. He was done within an hour. It was a real pleasure using Precision Door Service. I called the 800 number for service and within 5 minutes had an appointment with a 4 hour window and the assurance that the tech would call me when he was 30 minutes away so I did not need to sit in my house and wait. This was all confirmed by an immediate email giving me all the information I needed. I received a call from Kevin N. when he was 30 minutes away and met him at my house where he was waiting for me. The fact I had a picture of him was nice especially if it was my wife waiting to meet him. Kevin quickly evaluated my door and went through all the options for repair, the cost of each and his professional opinion of what I should do and why. He made the decision process quite easy. Kevin then did the repair. In less than an hour he was he was all finished and my garage door was as good as new. He cleaned up perfectly, made sure I understood exactly what he did and what I was charged for. He gave me his card if there was any problem and he was on his way. I would never call anyone but Precision for a garage door problem again and I would request that Kevin come and do the work.

I had a great experience with Precision. Rob Z came by to assess a door which was not operating properly and I showed him my second garage door was not operating at all. I did not intend to buy new doors, but it became apparent through watching him work that I did need new doors. The windows were broken out and one door almost cracked in half when we tried to open it. Rob came inside and showed me the catalog and within a few minutes I had ordered the doors. I told Rob I really could not afford new motors as well and he assured me that mine had a few more years left and did not pressure me at all to even consider new motors. He checked the date on them for me. Rob was so nice and easy going and I just felt his approach made me SEE that I needed new doors, not be told that I needed them. I bought a remote from Rob and he accepted a coupon I had printed, which sort of surprised me, as these things usually are not valid for some reason. Everything was very easy from the start. Brian Sc came to install the doors and was also lovely. He worked so hard all day and despite me trying to get him to come in and warm up, have some lunch, etc, he just kept working. The new doors are great and although I did not know I needed them, they are a great addition to the value of my home. They look great, and they are safe and work perfectly. Brian answered all of my questions and went over everything a few times, how to work the key, the manual door pull, etc. He cleaned up the garage and left after a long days work. Everyone at this company is so nice. Theresa, who scheduled the appointments was helpful and both guys who came to my home were just great guys. Knowledgeable, kind people, and did a great job. I am a first time homeowner and single, so I count on people to help me really understand what I am buying and how it works, so this company suited me perfectly!
