I had garage doors installed by another company in Monmouth county in my Essex county ( they installed doors when I lived in Monmouth county and installed in this home again) home. When I called for a repair, they said they wouldn’t come up here again. They referred me to use Precision Overhead Garage Doors and said they were excellent, they weren’t lying. I called them this Monday. I apologize I forgot the woman who answered the phones name. She was very professional and but cordial as well. She gathered all my information and said can we come tomorrow, is that okay? With the pandemic in place, I was aghast. Usually, when I have called other companies for other work on my home, they are giving a 2-3 week turnaround date. Of course tomorrow was great, she gave me a time span of 8am-12pm for tech to arrive. Next morning the tech called me @ 7:45 am and said he was on his way, would be at my house by 8am. Shocking. Jason arrived, looked at the doors and said whoever installed the doors, they did not use the correct rails to accommodate the garage door opener. Originally, I was told there was a $69 service; however, Jason waived that fee. Jason explained if I couldn’t rectify this issue with original installer, just call us back and they would figure out how to resolve this problem and then he left. I really could not believe how fast and professional this company was at customer service. I would highly recommend calling this company for any of your garage door needs. Some of the one stars you see on these google reviews, in my opinion, are miserable people that Mother Theresa would not be able to make happy. They look or pray for something to be wrong so they can proclaim and spread their negativity. I am being totally honest and genuine, I have nothing to gain from writing this review except to help you the Google reviewer make the correct choice.

It was easy to book the appointment online. Sean did a great job on the repair and completed it more quickly than I expected. He was on time, knowledgeable, courteous, and easy to talk to. He replaced the springs, rollers, and cables. The garage door works like new and is a lot quieter than before.

Fast service. Support spring broke Saturday 4pm. Found Precision on line with good quality reviews. Had a courteous repairman here 8:30am Sunday morning. Replaced broken spring and other old spring in 30 minutes. I recommend this company.

This was my first time using Precision and I would use them again. Their customer communication tools (emails, texts and phone calls) were extremely detail oriented and timely. Technician was professional, knowledgeable and had all the materials to complete our fix insight. I didn’t get a chance to compare pricing vs another contractor and would guess that Precision is on the higher end but you get what you pay for.

We have had a really great experience with Precision Door. Kevin helped us extend the life of our garage door/opener when we first moved in (installation of new springs, which are still under warranty) and, 6 years later, recently installed a new motor for us. When it became clear there was an issue with the motor, Kevin returned and wouldn’t rest until the issue was resolved, which meant swapping out the motor for a new one (the very next morning!). The phone staff is friendly and Kevin is not only a skilled technician, he is a very kind and personable human. I highly recommend Precision Door.
