His name is Luke; pleasant fellow. I paid $1400 by credit card; he installed a new motor, and replaced 2 garage door openers. I think he also installed a key pad on the outside of the garage door opener. My complaint is that the cost was an awful lot. My children were furious saying I got ripped off. We have called on Precision Garage Door Company in the past for a garage door motor and to install new remote access keypads. Their customer service has always been impeccable from answering the first phone call, to punctually arriving to give a quote or to make repairs and completing the work. Service Technicians are polite, courteous, helpful and always ready to answer customer's umpteen questions with patience. We just had a new garage door installed and the experience was smooth from start to finish. We would like to personally thank Michael LaPorta, Tim and Nick who installed the door, as well as the ladies who communicated with us via email and telephone to reconfirm our order and appointment. My house was struck by lightning and the strike fried many electrical components in our house, including the garage door opener. James did an excellent job examining all the important elements of the door, and replaced the motor as well as finding fraying in the cables due to a problem I wasn't aware of. He replaced those as well, and avoided a serious problem that could have occurred if one of those cables had snapped. It's very comforting to know you have a company that has your best interests in mind. Wish all companies were that good.
